About This Topic

In a virtual reality scenario with haptic feedback, precise hand and finger tracking is important. Current solutions either employ relative tracking solutions and are susceptible to drift etc., or vision based and therefore only work in a specific field of view. In this work these approaches should be combined to provide precise tracking in the current field of view as well as relative tracking outside this field.
