About this Project

The media processing group of the IMS is highly active in the application and further development of solutions for forensic audio and video analysis. The two leading applications are person/face recognition from surveillance videos and the identification of voices from low-quality recordings. Furthermore, we contribute to the standardization of recognition infrastructures and to the state of the art in forensic application schemes.
