Supervision by Hannes Kaufmann

Abstract

PhysicsPlayground is an educational virtual reality application that should help students in understanding the concepts of mechanics in the field of physics. By the help of virtual reality the student is immersed into a computer generated world in which everything behaves similar to real world physics. Within this virtual environment, the student has access to several tools. Amongst others he can create, modify and simulate physical bodies. Moreover the student has additional possibilities to interaction an analysis all entities within the virtual world. This again provides the student with an appealing educational environment.
