About This Topic
The general task is the development of a fully immersive multi-user VR system in Unreal Engine. Several students can work on different sub-tasks. Two major parts of the project are:
1. Integrating tracking input from multiple devices. The devices to be used are HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Perception Neuron (motion capture suit), Leap Motion (hand tracking), Virtualizer.
2. The development of a distribution concept: server-client architecture, the distribution of players' avatars and shared virtual objects, distributed interaction with virtual objects. Especially this part can be started as a Praktikum and continued as Master thesis.
