About This Topic
Develop a VR application that allows a user to do a virtual parachute jump inhouse. Requires the student to develop (1) a hardware setup for the allocation of the body, (2) a mechanical system that allows movement during the skydiving and (3) appropriate 3D content. Involves extended testing of the prototype. Ideally, this thesis is performed by a group of two students with a DIY attitude. Available resources: a hall for the construction work, a mechanical engineer as project consultant, VR equipment & expertise. Potentially, funding through the faculty's "Förderprogramm" for diploma theses.
