Draw Your Interface - Ubiquitous Human Computer Interaction based on Capacitive Sensing

Bachelor Thesis or Practicum

About This Topic

This thesis creates ways to enable human computer interaction anywhere and everywhere, on a table, on a page of a book, just by using cheap and off the shelf materials such as pencil, drawable ink or copper tape. The aim of this work is to create a 2D input surface that is capable to detect discrete 2D finger tip positions as well as continuous finger gestures.

The touch sensitive surface enables interaction with desktop applications, everyday objects for the internet of things as well as virtual reality.

If you have a passion for tinkering and experimental development and the will to get engaged in emerging technologies, we can offer you a spot to work in a vibrant research topic.
